Service Description

Our Academy successfully trains barbers and stylists in Ireland and Spain. Our education is easily accessible for students across our academies. In Cork, Ireland, Malaga and Estepona, Spain. Our aim is to raise the standards of education for the way beginners are educated in the barber profession in Ireland and change the old fashioned system of traditional training and low-level customer service. Our goal is to produce fully trained, salon efficient stylists trained in technical haircutting and advanced customer service and salon business with expertise across all the skillsets needed to be a successful stylist. Having established grooming just for men it is clear to see that Men’s grooming and barbering have changed drastically over the last number of years, so much so that an 8-12 week barber course of just 5 hours training per week, simply is not sufficient training for someone to work on a shop floor. After 12 weeks of FULL-TIME training, having successfully completed your course you can choose to apply through your portfolio, theory and practical and technical exam to have your training validated by the Association of Hairdressers and barbers and the Barber Council a Diploma of Merit and the designation State Registered Barber (SRB) that has is recognised by the industry across Europe recognition the exam requirements these are the most prestigious certificates you can receive. (External exam fees are paid directly to the awarding bodies) Upon completion of our Beginner Barber Course, you will be recognised as a Junior Barber and can work on a shop floor which is vital. The aim is to produce barbers that will be trained in modern men’s hairdressing .
